How I got into concrete
I taught myself the basics of concrete on small jobs around home, then learned the rest on other people's flatwork crews pouring driveways, walks and patios. In 2013 I started Orange Concrete Company here in Orange. I still care most about the parts you can't see once the concrete's down: the base under the slab, where the water goes and the steel inside it.
We're best known for driveways, patios and slabs where the ground work gets done right first. I'll admit I enjoy the jobs other people pass on, like a cut through an old slab, a wall holding back a slope or a house that has to come up. Homeowners call us, and so do builders and small business owners who want someone to look hard at a site before anything gets poured. Orange sits right on the state line, so your job might fall to a Texas city or county or to a Louisiana parish. The City of Orange wants permits in hand before work begins, so we figure out which office covers your address early and handle the permit side when the job calls for one.
What you can expect when you hire us
I look at the ground before I give a price
I come out myself to measure and check the dirt your slab will sit on and which way the water runs, because a slab only holds up as well as what's under it. We plan the base first and talk numbers after that.
A written quote you can compare
Your estimate is free, done on site and comes with no obligation, and it spells out what's included, from prep and tearing out the old concrete to the finish. That way you can lay our quote beside anyone else's and compare them line by line.
Straight answers on the hard jobs
If a wall, a cut or a house raise needs an engineer's design, I'll tell you plainly, and if I can't answer something at the estimate, I'll go find out instead of guessing. Our crew lead runs your job on site and our finishers do the work. We're licensed and fully insured, with satisfaction guaranteed on every job.
